The truth about routines
What is the purpose of a Pre Shot Routine? Do you have one? In this episode, we unpack the truth around routines and help you create productive routines that are built around the variance of golf and your unique mental/cognitive patterns.
We discuss
Pre Shot, In Shot, Post Shot and how you can develop stronger mental muscle (brain) to improve your game. Learn the all-important 3 x C's approach, the difference between visualisation and imagination and how you can put more positive memories in your subconscious basket so you are not always recalling poor shots you have hit in the past.
This is an hour of your life that could be the start of a new approach to your game, so please take the time to listen to the end as there is value all the way through.

I found this enthralling. I've read Dr Bob Rotella books, Gio Valiante books, etc etc. Great to hear the discussion on the mental battle. Can you discuss the optimum way to approach putting? I developed the yips around the same time I reached a scratch handicap... frustrating. These days I count through putting the way Martin Chuck (on Revolution Golf) decribes. It mostly works but feels very clinical. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Cheers, Brett
